Mexico

Okay, it has been quite awhile since we last chit-chatted. Since I know you all want an update, here is what happened in Mexico.

I'm not one to travel by myself, so I invited my friends, Joan, Lacey and Jessie to come with me. We decided to go on a cruise - figured it was the most scenic way to visit the land of Mexico.

The boat was beautiful. The water the most wonderful shade of blue I've ever seen. The trip itself, definitely worth it.

The first pic is of me reading my favorite magazine, Diablo, at the airport. The thing I like best about the airport is people watching - what are some of those folks thinking! You're getting on a plane, not going to a club. Oh, well...

The second pic is of us pulling into port at our first stop - Acapulco. Look at that city just climb the side of that mountain - crazy!

While in Acapulco, we ended up going on this crazy hike to see some petroglyphs. To be honest, the carvings looked like some eight-year-old kid drew them. (See me with Joan.) They all had smiley faces and were stick people. Oh, well. At least we can say we saw them, right?

The next pic is of Manzanillo. What a great beach, look at that sand! Bet you wished you were there. I actually got in the ocean for the first time. Man, is that thing salty! I almost got swept away by the waves... definitely not a good place for a bunny my size to be. Much safer to stay on dry land.

Of course, while on the boat you have to make friends, right? I guess I'm just a social type of bunny and made quick friends with this towel-turtle. He was a pretty funny guy.

No vacation is complete without a little pampering. Too bad we were a robe short. I ended up sharing one with Lacey.

Okay! That's about it for now. Till next time...

Fresno

Check out my trip to Fresno! Pretty funny, right? I even found my big bunny pal hanging out in the airport. You don't get to see that every day.

As for the trip, we flew to Fresno from Reno and then rented a car. I can't complain too much since I actually got to drive!

After some searching I found the next clue! It's looking like we're going international - MEXICO! I could use some sun. I've been told I'm a bit pale. Till next time - TTB.

TTB back in Reno. While in Virginia City, we found a map leading us to Fresno, CA. I can't wait to go! See you once we get back!

Virginia City

Sorry about the delay in postings. Been super busy traveling around! Lacey, Jessie and I went to visit historic Virginia City! Isn't it cute! It took us only a few minutes to figure out that we were supposed to visit the Bucket of Blood Saloon!

The historic church, currently under some construction.

Look who got into some trouble!

They said they'd toss us into the jail... we just didn't believe them!

We eventually broke out of jail and found our next clue! Looks like we're going to Sunny California!

Map #3

Hello from Reno! I'm having some technical error and can't seem to upload my map image from NYC? Weird. Well, in any case, it looks like it’s road-trip time! Virginia City, here I come!

Did you know Virginia City was once a booming town in the 1800s, with silver and gold all around? As part of the Comstock Lode, men arrived poor and left with millions. Some famous folks who once called Virginia City home were John Mackay, of whom UNR is a beneficiary (ever heard of Mackay School of Mines?) and even Mark Twain.

Anyways, the note on the map reads “Blood + Bucket = Good Time.” Well, if that’s not a gruesome omen, I don’t know what is. Wish me luck!

NYC for me!

Hello from NYC! What a unique city! I traveled all over looking for where the next clue could be. I went to Radio City Music Hall,
Central Park
and even a random bar.

(Do you see that incriminating photo BC took of me? Someone spiked my carrot juice!)

Anyways, I even stopped to ask directions from this lovely local who was selling his demo CD.

He was quite helpful, actually. Well, at first he told me to quit talking about his mama. Then I replied that I said, MoMA, not mama. Then I think he got it. Ended up sending me to the Museum of Modern Art or the MoMA!

Once there, we all decided to take a tour. Which was really interesting. So many great pieces to see, so little time.

After spending some time contemplating a few works of art. I ended up finding my next clue, which I’ll share after I return back to Reno!

So, that’s it from NYC!

Obamicon Me!

Since I’m waiting at the airport for the plane to NYC, I decided to hop on to the internet. Lacey sent me this link to obamicon me and look what I made! So, if you’re looking for something random to do, why not make a snazy Obama-campaign-type-poster-thingy of yourself?

Have fun and the next time you hear from me, I’ll be in the Big Apple!
